My personal favorites

Comfort Pro is an awesome company with incredible customer service that sells ventilated protective gear. I bought my jacket from them (see my full review here) and couldn’t be happier.

Mann Lake is the largest beekeeping supply company in the United States. I use their one piece plastic small cell frames. I also put one green drone frame in each hive once they are a full single box. This helps them draw out the other foundation properly and helps their temperament. My first suit was bought through Mann Lake. It still works great after I’ve had it for 11 years. A zipper just broke this week, but that is easily remedied. It is hotter than my vented jacket, but it gets the job done if I have a really hot hive and want full protection.

Harvest Lane Honey goat skin gloves are the gloves I grab if I have a hot hive. I’ve used them for years and now the elastic is beginning to weaken, but otherwise they are in great shape. North 40 and Tractor Supply sell them, as do other farm supply stores.

Other reputable suppliers

Dadant is the oldest beekeeping company in the United States. They have a wide variety of products.

Blue Sky Bee Supply has all kinds of bottling equipment as well as more general beekeeping products.

Glory Bee is a company that mainly sells honey and other health foods, but has a line of beekeeping equipment as well.

Lappe’s Bee Supply is a reputable beekeeping company. I always like to get their catalog each spring.
